How to Put a parental lock on Google Play

Yup If you don't want your child downloading x-rated content on the Play Store (Google's banned it, but it still appears sometimes), you can set up parental controls to prevent your Android device from being misused:
  • In the Play Store app, tap the Menu icon, then Settings > Parental controls and tap the slider so it says 'On'.
  • Create a parental lock PIN code, then go through the list of things you can download on the Play Store and tap the ones you want to set restrictions for.
  • Once the restrictions are set, you'll need to enter your PIN code each time you try to download something that triggers the restriction.
